ARC Complex is the sixth level of the campaign in Doom Eternal.

At the end you face a Marauder as a mini-boss fight. It doesn't count as an official boss fight so the level does contain a Slayer Gate and Secret Encounters. The final Field Drone is also found in this level.

Description

Having destroyed the Super Gore Nest, the hunt for the remaining Hell Priest continues. Unable to identify his position due to the Khan Maykr's interference, you travel to the ARC Complex, headquarters of the Armored Response Coalition (ARC), in search of Dr. Samuel Hayden, leader of the human resistance on Earth and the only person capable of finding the final Priest.

Mission challenges

• Rune Ensemble: Acquire 2 Runes (locations down at Upgrades).
• External Combustion: Overload a shield with the Plasma Rifle to kill 6 Demons. Whenever a Carcass summons his shield, or a shielded soldier is in the area, shoot the shields, and the blast damage will kill whatever demons are near it.
• Rocket Removal: Destroy 4 shoulder launcher Weak Points on Revenants. There are plenty of Revenants in the level.

Praetor Token	After reaching the ground floor, and fighting a Mancubus and a Carcass, along with a bunch of fodder enemies, behind some glass doors that can be punched is two rockets, some bullets, shells, and a Praetor Token.
Modbot	In the arena with the first Cyber-Mancubus, the modbot is one floor up, near the exit window Imps jump through.
Modbot	Right after Dr. Elena Richardson's first log, keep going down the hallway until you find a non-glowing crack on the wall.
Sentinel Crystal	After jumping from a high building into another building full of Zombies, climb over the debris left, punch through the wall, and climb up the stairs, through the hole in the wall, and find the crystal in the corner near where you came in.
Praetor Token	In the room with the hologram saying "no one is born a sinner", it's in the back wall in front of the hole that leads to the crashed jet airliner.
Praetor Token	After crossing the jet airliner, and climbing up a flight of stairs to the same room as a Pinky crashing through, turn left to outside, and jump a gap, it's right next to Secret Encounter 1.
Rune	In the elevator area that's on fire, after going down a hole, the rune will be easy to spot.
Praetor Token	After taking the turret elevator down, and falling through a hole, and ambushed by Imps, climb back out, fight a Pinky and some fodder enemies, in the hallway the Pinky came out of, the token is in the opposite direction of the hallway in front of a collapsed corridor, just before another Pinky comes to run down Zombies.
Rune	After the area where a Pinky runs down Zombies, you'll fall into a hole. Turn left, and climb over some debris to find the Rune.
Praetor Token	After the second toxic chamber, just before getting the blue key, turn around, and climb on the left climbable wall from the blue key chamber, and jump to the platform behind you to receive this token.
Praetor Token	At the ground floor of the parking garage, in the room across the ramp by the bus.

Backtrack to a door at the start of the hallway, where the door is unlocked. The codex should be right in front of you once you enter the secret area.
  • Dr. Elena Richardson Log III - Entering the parking garage fight, turn left, and find the green panel between the plants.
  • Dr. Elena Richardson Log IV - In the reception center right by the elevator.
• Cheat Codes
  • IDKFA - Just after jumping over the abyss, and swinging on a pole right after the first Cyber-Mancubus arena, a Revenant will pop out of a hole. The cheat is in said hole.

• Albums
  • QUAKE II - Quad Machine - Through the electric hallway with all the fodder enemies fighting, go to the office at the end of the hallway, and press the orange button. Backtrack to a door at the start of the hallway, where the door is unlocked. Turn right after entering, and go down. The album is across from Secret Encounter 2, behind some crates.
  • QUAKE III - Intro - Entering the parking garage fight, turn left towards Dr. Elena's Richardson's third log, and turn right to find the album.
• Slayer Gate - Early in the level, in the same arena the first Cyber-Mancubus appears in, two floors above the ground floor, and one floor up from the exit window, the Slayer Gate is near a broken bridge. You can grab the key easily by jumping on the climbable wall to the right of the bridge, and then jumping across the gap.
• Sentinel Battery - Across the broken bridge in front of the Slayer Gate, near the Cueball toy.
• Secret Encounter 1 - After crossing the jet airliner, and climbing up a flight of stairs to the same room as a Pinky crashing through, turn left to outside, and jump a gap to get to the encounter, right next to a Praetor Token. It contains one Pain Elemental, one Cacodemon, and an Arachnotron.
• Sentinel Battery - After the first turret, take the elevator down, kill whatever zombies and imps are in the way, the battery is in the office.
• Sentinel Battery - In the big purple goo room, the Sentinel Battery is on the way out.
• Secret Encounter 2 - Through the electric hallway with all the fodder enemies fighting, go to the office at the end of the hallway, and press the orange button. Backtrack to a door at the start of the hallway, where the door is unlocked. Turn right after entering, and go down below, and find the Secret Encounter hidden in the corner across a big question mark. The encounter contains three Prowlers and a Mancubus.

Extra Lives

ARC Complex contains three extra lives.

• The first extra life is located right behind the cracked door near Dr. Elena Richardson's second log.
• The second extra life is in the area where a Carcass bursts through the wall, and zombies burst through the one across, and a Mancubus appears down the hallway. Go through the hole the zombies came out of for the extra life.
• The third extra life is in the secret area by the electric hallway. At the end of said hallway is an office with an easily missable orange button. Backtrack to the unlocked door leading to the secret area, turn right, and up at the ledge above is an extra life.

Trivia

• In this complex, there are stations that contains recordings similar to audio entries in the PDAs that the Marine picks up in Doom 3. DOOM didn't have such stations, although it did contain stations in Hell where a Hell lord narrates the story of the Doom Slayer.
• It is the third ruined-urban level, with a twist of occurring at night and with less Hellification, as it used to be the headquarters of the Earth resistance ARC.
• The UAC claimed to have killed Dr. Hayden at the beginning of the level, but near the end the Slayer finds he was simply dismembered like C-3PO in The Empire Strikes Back.
• In a part of the level in a room full of purple goo, an alligator can be found relaxing under a platform in the goo. It is a harmless prop and easter egg.
