The Ancestrals were a race of giants and the first species to arise on Argent D'Nur, created by the Elemental Wraiths.
History
Argent D'Nur was a lifeless planet until the arrival of the Wraiths brought life to the planet. Among the first lifeforms to emerge from Argent D'Nur were the Ancestrals, giants invigorated by the energies of the Wraiths which grown them to enormous heights.[1] These giants were feral creatures who waged war with each other for untold years, devastating the lands and killing beings caught in their conflicts. Despite their size and power, the Ancestrals were driven away by the Argenta, who used weapons enchanted by Wraith magic that can pierce through the giants' bones and flesh, and Argent D'Nur fell under the domain of the first men.[1]
Notable
- Eligas the Wise - Fell by Tharok and its remains became Titan's Forge, where the Sentinels mined its ancient blood to distill into arcane fuel.[2]
- Tharok the Mighty - Killed Tharok with a colossal sword, which it formed the mountain range that now cradles Titan's Forge. The dormant energies of Tharok's sword were used to imbue the harvested Ancestral blood of Tharok.[2]
